41/41: That Would Be Something (8:00) -> Drumz (30:21) -> Days Between (14:03) -> OMSN (7:33).
This show is clearly better than the recording suggests. Would love to listen, again, if SBD ever surfaces. Garcia sounds great with Hornsby back in the mix. Especially lovely renditions of SMR, DB, and BMR. That Days Between, though. I don’t think there’s a single missed lyric. Alas, it's the last ever version as it would all come to an end- with the final show a mere couple of weeks later.

I was so disappointed in this show, I almost gave away my ticket for the next day, which was much better, and the last time I saw Jerry. I'm sure glad this is not the last memory of his playing. The only high points were Bruce's playing with the occassional support from Bobby.
This was the tour from hell. A woman was struck by lightning and killed at this show. There was a pavillion collapse in Wentzville at a camp site used by a lot of heads for the St. Louis show.

I never toured around to see the Dead, but I saw jerry every year when he came to the area (PA/MD)from my first show (Aug 74, Phila) until this show in 1995.
a lot of his lead got lost in the mix for most of the show. the best, sweet surprise to hear them to "that would be something."
the very personal message that I got was that we were done, that he said all that he had to say. don't forget to send him good vibes, or thoughts or prayers or whatever you call it. peace out, terry

I was 10 when my old man took me to see this show, and it's the only show I got to see. The only song I wanted to hear was 'Black Muddy River.' My old man and his friends told me it would never happen, because, really, how often did it happen? When Jerry played that song, the first time in five years, he played that song for me. I think so atleast...
But other than that the show was terrible.

I thought we were never going to hear this one again after they played it practically every other venue they went to back... I guess 3 years before... There really is not much to say about this show other than that... The Jack Straw/Red Rooster/Iko/ New Speedway were nice, but the second set really lacked power...Believe it or not the BMR was a treat... If you were at this show you may want it for your collection for memories-:) It would have been nice to have my buddy Phil though to enjoy one of the last RFK shows with me.... Man.. Where the heck was he?
